Scottychams is an independent hip hop artist based in the Greater Toronto Area by way of Waterloo, Canada, known for honest lyricism, motivational storytelling, and a sound that blends hip hop, R&B, trap, soul, melodic rap, and conscious rap.

Writing since 2014 and officially releasing music since 2016, he has built a catalog of 99 released tracks rooted in growth, faith, ambition, mental health, love, setbacks, and the belief that pain can become purpose.

Shaped by his university years in Oshawa, Scottychams founded We The 9 in 2016 as a 905 based collective for artists, DJs, and independent creatives. What began as a local movement became a larger symbol of independent ambition and creative freedom.
